Oscar nominations

Two British writers are among the nominees for the 2008 Oscars, announced today. Christoper Hampton (Atonment, from the novel by Ian McEwan) and Ronald Harwood (The Diving Bell And The Butterfly, from the novel by Jean-Dominique Bauby) are both nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay.
