The BBC adaptation of Charles Dickens's Little Dorrit by Guild member Andrew Davies has been nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries. Its only rival in the category is Generation Kill by David Simon.Davies's work on Little Dorrit has also won him a nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special.
30 Rock dominates the Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series category with four of the five nominations (Flight Of the Conchords gets the other), while Mad Men has a similar stranglehold over the Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series category.
