Channel 4 to invest extra £20m in drama

Channel 4 said today that it will use the axing of Big Brother for the "most fundamental creative overhaul" in its 27-year history, with measures including an extra £20m a year for drama.

    Ummm.... That is 'scripted drama' I take it because listening to some of the commissioners at '4' they often refer to REALITY TV as 'REAL DEFINING DRAMA'

    Says it all...

    ...and don't even start on the merchandising of BB and the like - which provided a huge percentage of the profits.
