ReplyDeleteYet "The Long Firm" has been widely praised, while falling smack in the crime sub-genre, the gangster story. The way of telling the story may be a refreshing variant (too much voiceover in my opinion), but it's still crime, kids.
Is it because Brit Crits still kow tow to the literary tradition?
